| The Macrolink Python is tough! It's a full-featured
tactical workstation that meets the most demanding requirements. Rugged enough to function
in any environment and easily transportable, it is resistant to weather, shock, and
vibration. The compact Python is a versatile workstation that
is easily deployable. It features a 2-slot 6U VME64/VME64x card cage, large LCD and dual
peripherals. A 4-slot version features a larger LCD and support for 4 peripherals for more
demanding applications. One or two removable high-performance disk drives are supported in
capacities up to 147GB.
A selection of Active Matrix, and TFT Liquid Crystal Displays
provide superior imagery in up to 1280 x 1024 resolution. Optionally, an advanced
anti-reflective coating provides excellent daylight readability.
The Python's open platform design hardware allows virtually any
VMEbus CPU -- PowerPC, SPARC, Pentium, Alpha, PA-RISC -- to be installed for immediate
compatibility with your existing applications. The industry standard VME card cage enables
quick and easy migration to the next generation processors.
The Python gives you high performance for the advanced field support
and tactical vision you need -- wherever you are.
