Macrolink Announces End-Of-Life for
the MVS/200 VME SCSI Host Adapter
Anaheim, CA, 13 March 2000 ---
Effective 1 April 2000 the MVS200 series VME SCSI Host Adapters will enter End-Of-Life
status. Macrolink currently offers 3 SCSI VME Controllers, MVS200, MVS216 and the
MVS316. Eliminating the MVS200 allows us to
focus on the MVS216 and MVS316. The MVS316
supports 8-bit UltraSCSI, 16-bit Fast/Wide SCSI and 16-bit UltraSCSI applications. The MVS200 supports 8-bit and 8-bit Fast SCSI
applications.
Non-cancelable orders for the MVS/200
will be accepted through 31 May 2000. The last date for shipment of the MVS/200 series
will be 31 August 2000. We encourage you to review your material plan to ensure that
orders are placed to meet your product requirements.
